70-Hour Advanced Training and Mentorship Program

with Lauren Fecarotta, Zoe Rabinowitz, Nami Soga, Ariel Karass and Francis Taylor

We are thrilled to offer our first advanced training and mentorship program this fall! We built this course to help 200-hour certified students refine their skills and step more confidently into the role of a teacher.

Oftentimes, a 200-hour program ends, and there are not many opportunities to continue practicing your teaching with feedback, to brush up on forgotten anatomy material, or to learn to teach more advanced poses. Sometimes, there are questions that surface only once you’ve begun teaching.

This program is a path to becoming a superb teacher that can deliver clear cues more effortlessly, offer more transformative hands-on assists, and sequence in a more creative, seamless, and inspiring manner.

This training is held entirely in-person over 5 weekends and is followed by a 4-week community class that will be attended by an assigned mentor, one of the senior teachers at our studio. Students may list first and second choices of mentors, and we will try to assign as many first choices as possible.

After each of the four 60-minute community classes, your mentor will give you feedback and suggestions to help you refine your teaching practice. Our ultimate goal is to bring graduates to a place where they can be a part of our teaching team with personalized 1:1 support.

Training sessions will be held from 1-6:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays on the below weekends.  Topics will include advanced anatomy and working with injuries, teaching elevated private yoga sessions, using the props and wall more adeptly, sequencing with more intuition and creativity, refining and clarifying cues, and offering more hands-on assists (plus review of our 200-hour assists).
